DWP reform communications toolkit

We have produced a toolkit of communications materials to help to tell the DWP reform story. This toolkit explains the context behind the reforms and provides an overview of all the changes that DWP will be delivering over the next few years.

It provides you with the information you need across all of our policy areas, examining what is changing, why these changes are happening and when they are being introduced. To support this information we have produced more detailed packs such as the Personal Independence Payment toolkit and the Universal Credit toolkit, due to be published on the DWP website soon.

The DWP reform communications toolkit will be regularly updated to ensure the information we are providing you with is always accurate.

The toolkit is in four parts. The amount and type of information presented can be selected depending on your audience.

The Toolkit

A brief explanation of the reforms setting out DWP’s vision:

An overview of the joined up reform story listing the changes the reforms will bring for use at conferences and events:

An overview of the joined up reform story listing the changes the reforms will bring, (with less text and more detailed speaker notes):

A detailed breakdown of the welfare reforms – designed to be delivered in sections which can be removed or combined in different ways depending on your audience:
