Work, Welfare and Equality Group (WWEG) Delivery Director (Policy)

This role is critical to the effective delivery of the government’s welfare to work strategy through the formulation of employment programmes and the strategic development of WWEG’s commissioning role.

The successful candidate will work with external providers and government stakeholders to ensure the very best support for those trying to enter the job market. Leading a team of about a 100, he or she will be responsible for a budget of nearly £1 billion.

Director Client Funds & Financial Control – Child Support Agency (CSA) (Business & Finance)

This is your opportunity to play a key role in raising the quality of life for families across the UK, as well as building a solid foundation for the future delivery of child support.

This broad and challenging remit includes exercising financial management and control of the Agency’s financial resources; leading financial planning and analysis of performance and business proposals ensuring overall value for money; and supporting and influencing business process development to incorporate regularity and propriety requirements.

Strategic Sourcing Director (IT/Sourcing) – Programme and Systems Delivery Group (PSD)

As Strategic Sourcing Director you will be a member of the PSD board with overall responsibility for developing and managing the strategic frameworks that the DWP will use to drive a step change in the long-term performance of its IT supplier relationships. You will already have significant experience at Board level in strategic sourcing, preferably in a global environment supporting a large scale multi-disciplined business and will have made significant improvements in supplier delivery. You will have a proven reputation for developing and leading high performing teams and have the professional credibility that inspires confidence at every level.
