Customer Equality Reference Group
The aim of the DWP Customer Equality Reference Group is to help the Department involve customers in diversity issues and to act as a consultative group for the Department’s proposals when implementing Equality legislation The Group usually meets twice a year.
The Group provides a more insightful level of customer involvement through a mix of its experience across the range of the Department’s policies and services and its background knowledge of equality legislation and codes of practice. Representatives offer their views as individuals with personal experience and as representatives of their communities.
