Interventions Delivery Target 2009 to 2010
Target: 85%
What is the target?
The target is about helping our customers move into work by providing timely work-focused support to customers claiming Jobseeker’s Allowance (JSA) and lone parents claiming Income Support (IS).
To carry out specified labour market interventions in a given time in 85% of cases.
How does it work?
This target measures a number of the main mandatory labour market interventions:
- 83% of IS lone parent work focused interviews that become due are conducted within three months, and
- 87% of the following interviews are conducted within six weeks of the main interview prompt being generated by our IT system:
- 13, 26 and 52 week JSA interviews (including New Deal initial interviews), and
- for Jobseeker’s Regime and Flexible New Deal sites – Initial Stage 2, Initial Stage 3 and the Pre Provision reviews.
These two components make up the overall national target of 85%, with each component having an equal share of the target.
Note: There is a time delay of around 4 months for this data.
National level data is updated each month.
