Employer Outcome target 2007 to 2008
Target: 84%
What is the target?
The Employer Outcome Target measures our performance in meeting a high standard of service to satisfy our employers – it therefore helps Jobcentre Plus to meet the needs of its employer customers.
At least 84% of employers placing their vacancies with Jobcentre Plus will have a positive outcome based on the employer’s opinion of the service received.
How does it work?
The Employer Outcome Target measures how quickly and effectively employers’ recruitment needs are met and whether they were able to recruit the right people for the job.
An on-going survey of employers finds out what they thought of three key areas when using Jobcentre Plus for their recruitment:
- resolution – was the vacancy filled?
- responsiveness – was the vacancy filled in a timescale that met their needs?
- matching – did they think that the people who applied for the job met their vacancy requirements?
These three elements are used to make up the overall national target of 84%.
Employer Outcome Target data is updated each quarter (April – June, July – September, October – December, January – March).
