District Manager
Ian Williams is the District Manager for Jobcentre Plus in South East Wales. He is responsible for the operational delivery of Jobcentre Plus business within his command, including External Relations, Jobcentres, the Recruitment team and projects aimed at helping people back to work.
External Relations Manager
Geraint Lewis is the External Relations Manager. The role of the External Relations Team is to support the business in promoting the profile of Jobcentre Plus and conveying the direction and purpose by:
- Managing relationships with appropriate stakeholders
- Linking internal and external business relations
- Managing marketing campaigns and controlling branding
- Communicating messages to internal and external audiences
- Managing the partner provision that supports job seeker needs
- Promoting childcare in conjunction with external partners
Communications Manager
The communications Manager is Ceri Jenkins.
The role of the Communications Manager to distribute information to staff in clear and coherent way. She is also responsible for liaison with external partners and investigating customer complaints and resolving them.
Local Partnership Manager
Rudolfo Barinowsky and Lesa Crowley
The role of the Local Partnership Manager is to establish productive partnerships with external organisations and develop effective ways of working together.
District Marketing Manager
Liz Owen is the District Marketing Manager for South East Wales.
The DMM is responsible for the procurement of marketing collateral, event management and procurement of media as appropriate.
Childcare Partnerships
Amy Davidson is the Childcare Partnership Manager for South East Wales
The role of the Childcare Partnership Manager is to help Jobcentre Plus customers find accessible, affordable and good quality childcare so they can make the most of opportunities to work, train or study. Their role is also to support the growth of the Childcare sector by working alongside Children's Information services, Early Years Development and Childcare Partnerships, and also support employers in the childcare sector regarding recruitment. They work with other organisations such as NCMA to promote careers in working with children.

These five local authorities are made up of 138 wards, ranging from Castle (in Monmouthshire) with a population of 487, to Plasnewydd (in Cardiff) with a population of 16,339. Of these 138 wards, 19 are receiving additional support from Deprived Areas Fund.
As a whole, South East Wales District is home to over 730,000 residents, with nearly 430,000 of working age.
